Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in St Pete Beach will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Florida usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 AM–8 PM. I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s just not what it used to be. After the hurricanes and the changes that followed, it feels like it has lost the character and charm that made it such a special place. The atmosphere isn’t the same, and the experience no longer stands out the way it once did. On top of that, the prices have gone up, but I don’t feel the value is there anymore. It’s disappointing to see a place with so much history lose what made it memorable. I hope they’re able to bring back some of the spirit that made it a local favorite.

Definitely not what it used to be and highly disappointed. Chicken was cold, biscuit was rock hard, bacon cheeseburger was cooked in the deep fryer, cashier/cook was overwhelmed and clearly not happy about it…we won’t be back.

We have been coming to Shaner’s Land and Sea Market, and to Pass-A-Grille, for over 20 years. It has always been a staple of our beach days, a place we made a point to stop for sandwiches mid day. For years, it was everything you’d hope for in a local market… quaint, welcoming, and unmistakably family-owned. We were almost always greeted by the owners or their grandchildren, and the sandwiches were consistently fresh and thoughtfully made. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, the experience has completely shifted, and not for the better. The charm of the market is gone. What once felt like a beloved local spot now resembles more of a generic convenience store, filled with the smell of greasy fried chicken and pizza. Even more disappointing is the decline in service. On our most recent visit (today), the employee taking our order was noticeably rude and disengaged. No greeting, no smile, and no effort to ensure accuracy. She didn’t write down our order, and when we got back to the beach, we realized every single sandwich was incorrect. To make matters worse, the sandwiches themselves were poorly made — sloppy, falling apart, and the bread tasted as though it was old. It

We have been getting Pizza here since they opened. After helene. The last two times they were bad this time , they scaled to a whole new low. I think the people are not very happy. That they have to work for a living.
